Note: A new road has opened, making field access from the hotel simpler. Use these directions for access to the field.

There is a new route to the field from the hotel, which may not show up on Google, since it opened last week or so.

From the Hotel, head north on the frontage road to the next exit, Paseo Del Norte. Turn left (West), and then follow the directions below. Paseo now goes to Universe. Take Paseo del Norte west across the Rio Grande. Continue west as it becomes a two lane street (the right lane merges with the left lane). As you approach a new housing development, there is a stoplight on the two lane street that is at Universe. Turn south on Universe. Less than a mile south on Universe you will see another new housing development and Universe will become two lanes in each direction. Stay in the right hand lane and take the first right on Molten Rock Road toward the two water tanks before you descend off the escarpment. Turn left at the stop sign on 81st Street. Immediately after the horse complex, you will turn right at the George Maloof Airpark entrance.

Other Directions
Coming in to town on I-40, going to the hotel, take I-25 north in the middle of town, exit 159. Go to exit 231, San Antonio Blvd. Go straight through the light and onto the frontage road, look for hotel on right (Howard Johnson Express)

From the airport (rental car lot), head west on Sunport to I-25, then 25 north to exit 231.

To get to the field from I-40, go ALL THE WAY through town, pass Coors Blvd. The next Exit is Unser Blvd. Turn right (north). Go quite a ways (5 miles is a guess). As the road goes up the mesa, after Montano Blvd, get in your left lane. At the top of the hill, the first left is Molten Rock. Take this, then an immediate left at the water tank, and head south to the field.

You can also get across the river at Montano, somewhat south of the hotel. This will then cross Coors, continue a few lights to Unser. Turn right, go up the hill, take your first left (Molten Rock), and immediate left at the water tank, and south to the field.

Keep in mind the mountains are to the east. Then directions become easy.
